The development is, at last, under way, after much discussion and negotiation to ensure, what we believe is the right building at the right price.
The old clubhouse has served the club well over the years and it is sad to see it go, however, we all have great memories of times and occasions in the building, my own stag night was held there, and we now look forward to a new modern building maintaining the character, atmosphere and `feel` of the `old place`.
We will continue to publish photographs of the development as it progresses, with a completion date in December ready for Christmas.
If you have not already done so, come along to the temporary building for a `pint`, it has an atmosphere of its own and has been very well accepted, but, failing that, we look forward to seeing you in the new building by the end of the year, the start of a new era.
